For its very first edition in Luxembourg, the H-W3B hackathon was organised and supported by Sia Partners, Tezos, Sogelife, Digital Learning Hub, Technoport, University of Luxembourg and the LHoFT on 1 March. Participants had 48 hours to develop a use case and prototype on a Web3 topic and present it to a jury of ecosystem experts.
Some of the students from Ecole 42 took part in the first #blockchain and #Web3 #hackathon in Luxembourg by Sia Partners and won the first prize and the use case prize brilliantly.
After only two weeks since the Digital Learning Hub hosted the first cohort 42, these students have already shone through their ingenuity! They presented their idea perfectly for the use case of SOGELIFE S.A. Congratulations to the winning team composed of Elodie Hamm, Julian Bendinelli, Anthony Kinzelin, Maxime De Prins, Eliot Gruslin and Lola Gn who won the 7000 euros of the 1st prize but also an additional 5 000 euros for having answered one of the 2 use cases provided by Sogelife.
The hackathon took place in five major cities – Paris, Luxembourg, New York, London and Dubai – from February to April 2024, and will culminate in a grand final in Paris bringing together the winners from each city. New themes, more coaches, over-motivated teams, this new edition is already shaping up to be a great success!
