A study conducted by the Chamber of Crafts’ eHandwierk department found that, although most craft businesses in Luxembourg are convinced of the importance of digitalisation, they struggle to assess their own progress and choose the right support. TheDigiCheck self-assessment tool responds to this challenge free of charge and in a few minutes.
It measures six key areas – communication, management, human resources, security, steering (regulation), production and services – and then generates a percentage of digitalisation, a profile and recommendations. Since 2018, the "eHandwierk" service of the Chamber of Crafts guides and accompanies craft companies in their digital transformation. This has resulted in several initiatives, such as Digital Performance Self-diagnosis (DigiCheck), and around 600 meetings with business leaders as well as 1 400 remote counselling sessions.
