The DSJP is turning four!
Since its launch in 2021 under the Connecting Europe Facility Programme, it has grown into the go-to European hub for all things digital skills and jobs. Over the past four years, the DSJP has supported Europe’s efforts to strengthen its digital capacity and global competitiveness, while contributing to the objectives of the Digital Europe Programme and the targets of the Digital Decade.
Whether you are a citizen looking to improve your digital literacy, an educator seeking new resources, a policymaker designing inclusive strategies, or a business investing in digital upskilling, the DSJP is here to support you. It provides high-quality, accessible content and tools that empower people and organisations across Europe to succeed in the digital transition.
This central platform works closely with the National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs – partners on the ground who help turn local initiatives into European impact. This collaboration ensures that best practices are shared across borders and that digital upskilling efforts reflect real needs across sectors and regions.

New chapter, bigger impact
The last two years have seen the Platform take major steps forward:
-
In 2023, it became the home of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy, launched during the European Year of Skills. The Academy addresses the cybersecurity skills gap and supports the EU’s efforts to build digital resilience.
-
In 2024, the platform launched the Digital Skills Talks — a series of 30-minute online conversations with experts, offering insights into emerging trends, technologies and policy challenges in digital skills.
-
It has introduced new features like Partnership Requests, making it easier to connect projects and stakeholders, and personalised content recommendations to help users find the most relevant opportunities and resources.
-
Coming soon: the European Digital Skills Awards 2025 will spotlight and celebrate Europe’s most impactful digital skills initiatives.
And this is just the beginning.
Here’s to four more years of growing, connecting and advancing digital skills across Europe – together.
