METASTARS, a project co-funded by the European Union, has the objective to promote the collaboration between European clusters to support SMEs in the aerospace and defence ecosystem (ASD) and to increase companies’ resilience. The project will offer SMEs financial support to benefit from services to adapt to new technologies or strengthen their green and digital transition and innovation potential, their internationalization strategy and the upskilling of their workforce.
In this call, the applicant SMEs will have the possibility to be granted a maximum of 2 Innovation Services (applying one time for up to 2 services). There are 5 types of Innovation Services offered by the METASTARS project:
1. Green Technology Development
- External services to support SMEs willing to develop green solutions, processes or internal activities: processes, manufacturing as well as internally (communication, internal processes, etc.)
- up to €4.000
- 10 Services
2. Digitalisation
- External services to support SMEs willing to digitalise activities and/ or processes: processes, manufacturing as well as internally (communication, internal processes, etc.)
- up to €6.000
- 10 Services
3. Upskilling and Reskilling
- External services/ costs to boost the SMEs’ skills’ development. Training could be focused either technical and/ or soft skills. It is mandatory that the training benefits more than one person working for the company.
- Up to €3.000
- 8 Services
4. Internationalisation for Japan and Canada
- support the attendance to a conference/ event in Japan to develop business. The FSTP can support travel, accommodation and fees.
- receive the support of a consultancy company to design an internationalisation strategy or reach new clients/ partners to Japan or Canada.
- Up to €5.500
- 16 Services
5. Information System Security
- External services to provide the SME with support to adapt against cyber-attacks.
- Up to €15.000
- 10 Services
