At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday, Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and Chuck Robbins, President and CEO of Cisco, announced new initiatives to accelerate the digital transformation in Luxembourg. These initiatives will focus on three pillars:

  • cybersecurity,
  • talent development
  • education, and sustainability.

As part of its Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) programme, Cisco will continue to support Digital Luxembourg, Luxembourg’s long-term digitalisation movement.

Their initiatives and objectives include the project to create a network of sensors to protect all critical infrastructures and to set up a platform for small companies, to work on smart buildings with major players, particularly transport infrastructures, and to work with Adem on reskilling as a continuation of NetAcad.
