The Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub,in collaboration with the Competence Centre of the University of Luxembourg, is launching a new training service: DigitalSkills Maturity Assessment (DSMA) for SMEs in the manufacturing and industrial sector. This free and personalized service helps companies identify the digital skills needed for their employees.
The DSMA assesses the maturity of the current and future digital skills of the workforce, thus facilitating the definition of tailored training programmes. The results of this assessment make it possible to identify collective skills needs and to design personalized training paths to acquire or improve them.
The DSMA offers many advantages:
– Employee retention: By offering clear career paths and growth opportunities based on training and performance.
– Evaluation of the effectiveness of training: By providing criteria to measure the success of past training.
– Improved recruitment: By revealing essential skills gaps for future recruitments.
– Optimisation of human capital: Identifying current skills and training needs of employees.
– Optimisation of requests for public funding: Developing applications for R&D funding based on skills development.
– Strategic planning: Providing information for career plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and adjusting resources and efforts according to identified skills needs.
This service is available with the financial support of the European Commission and the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy. This initiative is part of the L-DIH catalogue, ensuring access to high-quality digital skills training programmes offered by recognised institutions in Luxembourg.
