Have your say and take part in the final EDSC Feasibility Study Survey! Consultation is open until 7 April 2023.

The European Commission is opening a consultation process in order to explore the development of a European Digital Skills Certificate (EDSC). The aim of this initiative, led by the Directorate for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG-EMPL), and managed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC)  is to allow people to indicate their level of digital competence corresponding to the DigComp proficiency levels – that is Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced and Highly Specialised levels – and will encourage individuals to acquire new digital skills covering all these levels.

After a series of surveys launched in the previous months, now the most important phase of the consultation process is open to anyone interested.

This final survey aims to get:

  • an overview of the potential demand for an EDSC,
  • the needs and the gaps in the current digital skills certification ecosystem
  • the expected value and potential benefits of an EDSC
  • the key requirements for an EDSC

The survey will be open until 7 April 2023. To participate you will need to fill out the form and register here!
