Women Cyber Force puts together cybersecurity professionals of different nationalities, education, and backgrounds, who want to raise their voices and inspire and help future generations better understand the importance of women in this sector. Women Cyber Force sets the ambitious, but at the same time more than urgent, goal to leverage the role of girls and women in this sector and support them in choosing their career in ICT in their best interest.
Launched in May 2022, the Digital Learning Hub is a training centre created on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth with the mission to reduce the digital skills gap in Luxembourg
The DLH targets three types of audiences:
- professionals wanting to improve their skills in IT
- job seekers considering a professional reorientation into IT
- young people who are looking for alternative courses to acquire digital competencies
The trainings of the DLH range from short courses that impart specific skills within just a few hours to longer learning tracks that can take upward of 300 hours and provide more in-depth knowledge for future career re-orientations.
ADEM and the Chamber of Commerce have developed a tailor-made programme aimed at deepening knowledge of project management, in particular for digital-related projects. The programme Fit4Project 2.0 consists of group workshops to develop technical and behavioural skills. It takes place over approximately 4 weeks. At the end of the programme, each participant benefits from an individual coaching session. The aim is to highlight the benefits of the programme and to develop a short and medium-term action plan in order to formulate and even refine their professional integration project.
The Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub for Industry 4.0 is addressing the digital transformation of the Luxembourg industry with networking, innovation skills and training, “test before invest” services and support to find investment at local and European levels.
It has unique competencies in High-Performance Computing, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
The Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre offers high-quality training courses enabling employees and companies to acquire skills, specialise or learn a trade through long-term, practical and daytime certification courses (internationally recognised industry certifications). The LLLC thus wishes to position itself on a new segment in Luxembourg in terms of professionalizing IT training. For the first year, 3 complete and modular training courses are offered in blended learning during the day: Linux operating system, Network, and Cybersecurity. Each course will start with beginner-level courses and go up to an advanced level of mastery in each of the 3 courses.
AWS Digital Training offers free, on-demand courses developed by the experts at AWS. With their new learning centre, AWS Skill Builder, everyone can explore learning plans and 500+ digital courses to help one build his/her own career. The platform also offers 25+ learning plans as well as 19 Ramp-Up Guides to help expand the knowledge about specific roles within the cloud.
